Loki by Mike Vasich
Vas A brilliant retelling of some of the major events in Norse mythology, and thus an ambitious and worthy--and ultimately significant--literary effort. The book is a good read, I rather enjoyed it, although I did feel that the author could have put more into the tales of the Edda's, the one with Thor pretending to be Freyja vazich Loki is his handmaiden could have had more comic relief than what was actually there. Lightning crashed down, striking the hammer, and Tyr saw Thor's features lit up, his red beard giving the brief impression that his face was on fire.
Quite the quick read on my way to my familys get together and back. Would I recommend this?

Loki: Nine Naughty Tales of the Trickster
In my story, they become zombie-like creatures. I went into this thinking it was gonna be a deeper look into the character of Loki. Hearing his side of the story was refreshing.
I did, however, pull their names from actual Viking sagas, so they are accurate as far as I know. Overall, a good book, 'Loki' is still my favorite of the two!
Loki never quite becomes a sympathetic character, but the reader does realize that vssich are two sides to every story. Why be frightened of everything that you are not? He continues to write novels in his spare time so that he can avoid any real work around the house.
